Upload Video/Audio to Bot

Embedding videos into the chatbot allows customers to watch products/services directly without leaving the chat window, avoiding interruptions during the purchasing process.

Important Notes:

  • If using a video link from Facebook, there is no file size limit.

  • If using videos from external sources (e.g., Dropbox), the maximum file size is 20MB.

1. Uploading Videos from Facebook

How to do it:

  • Upload the video directly to your Facebook fanpage.

  • Copy the video link and embed it into the chatbot.

Example:

2. Uploading Videos from Dropbox

For long or large videos, compress them to around 20MB for faster loading speed, providing a better customer experience. Recommendation: use short videos under 1 minute and in HD quality.

Steps:

Step 1. Log in or create a Dropbox account at: https://www.dropbox.com

Step 2. Upload video/audio (mp4 or mp3 format, ≤ 20MB).

Step 3. Click Share to get the video/audio link.

Step 4. Select Copy link.

Step 5. Edit the link so the chatbot can read it.

  • The original copied link will look like:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/7v4cspr3pchsqgrx5levn/video.mp4?rlkey=hf3jlkgsm8gztkbynu6k1baew&st=6ive5hnc&dl=0
  • Replace dl=0 with raw=1 to get the correct link:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/7v4cspr3pchsqgrx5levn/video.mp4?rlkey=hf3jlkgsm8gztkbynu6k1baew&st=6ive5hnc&raw=1

Step 6. Go to the block in the chatbot, select Add video.

Step 7. Paste the edited link.

Step 8. Test and view the result.
